Subject	Anyone fab up a center console lid?

Message	I was just thinking it would be nice to have a lid that isn't made of plastic that cracks so easily. I don't suppose anyone has thought about making up one out of another material? I know I've run across the FAQs which show how you can reinforce them so they don't crack... as easily... but I still think it would be neat to see what sort of other things this crowd could come up with.
